"Luciana was the perfect host - we felt immediately comfortable with her warm and welcoming personality. Communications were great and we met on time and without any problems finding her. We wanted a general introduction to Valencia and a steer to where the hidden food gems were off the tourist trail. Our tour started late afternoon and ran late into the evening. "The best way to start your stay in a new city is to book a guided tour with a local. It privides an understanding of the culture, provided a history of what the people gone through and what influenced thier behaviour, culture and culinary habits. Our tour with Mike did excatly as we had hoped for. Especially , since he is not born in valencia and learned it as an immigrant, he knows and understand how to look at the different prespectives of life and was able to pass its experince to us, at least partially, 1,5 hours is to short for a complete transfer .
