"We did the tour of Hue imperial city with Bích Du and it was AMAZING. She is so kind and especially very knowledgeable about the history of Hue and the city! She was super fun to go around with and we really enjoyed every curiosity and story she told us! We could have listened to her all day long without getting bored! She was warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, and she shared fascinating details that felt tailored to our interests rather than scripted. Every question we asked was met engaging, funny, and fascinating answers. She really made the history come alive in a way that was both fun and easy to follow.
She was also incredibly patient and generous with her time, and spoke excellent English and Vietnamese to make sure everyone felt included and comfortable. On top of that, she was amazing at helping us take photos, pointing out great spots and making sure we captured the moment without ever feeling rushed.
The three hours flew by so quickly because the tour was both educational and genuinely enjoyable. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Huế, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly, highly recommend!!"

"Matthew was an amazing guide. We brought our three year old and were unsure how he would tolerate sightseeing. But Matthew was wonderful with him. He quickly learned what interests our son; and expertly balanced history for the adults with opportunities for our son to rest and play. Matthew has a history degree and it shines through. He had a fascinating answer for everything, from the upbringing of Ho Chi Minh to the political history of the Vietnamese language. We’d recommend Matthew to everyone. "
